Acoustic & Thermal Benefits

Thermal Insulation

No matter in which climate Easy Windows uPVC windows are installed, they contribute to a comfortable atmosphere in your home. Both the design and the uPVC material of our windows system prevents thermal bridging, therefore, the thermal insulating performance of the finished window or door is exceptionally good. This is because uPVC is a non-conductive material, which means that, combined with double or triple glazing, our windows are unparalleled in energy efficiency as they massively reduce the amount of heat loss and gain. This in turn greatly reduces heating and air conditioning expenses.

Made for Double Glazing, our window and door systems eliminate the problem of water condensation on the window panes inside the house. They have also been tested through NATA (National Association of Testing Authorities) accreditation to withstand high air and water pressure, and show that they can perform strongly against violent storms and floods.

Acoustic Insulation

Noise pollution is one the worst stresses on human lifestyle. Acoustic performance is an essential characteristic of a modern window in order to ensure a comfortable life both at home and in the workplace.
Sound insulation is a priority in the uPVC profile design we use, with multi-locking points to improve insulation. It then is further enhanced by fitting steel reinforcement to strengthen the frame structure and choosing the appropriate glass for high acoustic performance.

Easy Windows uPVC windows and doors have been tested in CSIRO labs which showed noise reduction around Rw=32dBa. When tested with acoustic glass, they achieved noise reduction by Rw=43dBa. As a result, all our windows provide great acoustic insulation and, in severe cases, we can go even further by installing two sets of windows in front of one another.
